A coupling voltage based adaptive reclosing scheme for flexible DC grid

Abstract The total electric field around the DC line is composed of both ion flow produced by coronae and electrostatic conductor charge. Under effect field, disconnected pole will generate a coupling voltage. Therefore, based on voltage, this paper proposes an adaptive reclosing scheme for flexible grid to prevent power supply interruption caused temporary fault. First, voltage (DPCV) under analysed when single ground fault (SPGF) (PPF) occur respectively. Then, according DPCV difference between permanent fault, property identification (FPI) criterion constructed. very simple not affected transition resistance, position wiring mode which has high reliability. Compared with non‐selective strategy, can avoid secondary impact system from Extensive simulations experiments verify effectiveness proposed strategy.
